Creating a website can seem daunting. But, breaking it down into clear, manageable steps makes the process a lot less overwhelming.
We provide a complete web design and development "start-up package" that includes everything necessary to get your site up and running.
Contact us and you will be well on your way to creating a website that is not only engaging, but also effective at communicating with your target audience.
We can discuss and advise you on the best methods and options to cater for your specific requirements.
Once we are sure of your requirements, we can meet with you to discuss your project in depth. The next step is to prepare a comprehensive proposal including site content, specifications and total project costs.
Once you approve our proposal, we will inform you of what materials we will need (graphics, images, web-content (text), etc.
More importantly is the strategic planning of the site, and how best to layout the navigation of key areas. By having the web-content and navigation planned upfront, you save time and money in the design and development phases.

GETTING INVOLVED |
You know your business better than anyone else. So, we can't emphasize enough the importance of being involved, especially in the preliminary stages.
We do appreciate the time constraints in running a business, so we have created a brief list of:
"How to best become involved in the web-development process"
Make a list of any websites that catch your eye.
| 1) Look at the style of these sites |
Are they mostly text, photographs, images, logos, or advertisements (what is the overall look of the site) |
Are they professional, artistic, earthy or colorful (who are they designed for; children, businesses, students, etc.) |
What are the main colors that you like and dislike (You will be incorporating your busiess colors & a few complimentary colors) |
| |
| 2) How does the navigation look and feel |
It is very important to organise the overall structure of the navigation right from the start |
Choose the main categories and subcategories that will help people navigate your website most efficiently |
Write a list of the main areas and how you can break them down into 4-7 categories |
Write brief descriptions of each of the main areas and the sub- categories |
Write a condensed version of you and your businesses history for an the "About Us" page (qualifications, years of experience, awards)
It is also very common to register your domain name at the start of the process to ensure that you get your chosen name, if it is still available.
Just be aware that you usually pay the registration fee for a two year period, and the development phase may take up some of that time.
